Dear Second Life,

Can you possibly get any better than what you already are?

According to Linden Labs, you can and will in the future,

the next generation of Second Life virtual world is being worked on as we speak,

but don't worry, you will continue to live on after your sister surfaces on the web.

She promises her users the power to go far beyond in creating anything imaginable.

Don't I have that already with you?

Peter Gray (Linden Lab spokesman) tells a different story,

according to the plan, the next generation promises to be the best ever in virtual worlds.

Now, this may take years to happen I assume, and I wonder,

if I get to see it in my Second Lifetime, will I move on to the new promising virtual world

or remain in this one?

I am one to plant her roots deep and strong so change does make me a little uneasy but sometimes my

curiosity takes the best of me.

I also wonder if this virtual world I reside in will start losing users once the new promised land (virtual world)

appears and how much the population will drop when this happens?

So much uncertainty for now that the only thing that remains to do

is to wait and see what my Second Life future holds.

Once the princess took the forbidden fruit

That was enough to turn her soft and sweet pink lips
to bloody red and she was transformed into darkness,
Cursing the world and laughing and spitting at anything that reminded her how she once was.

Once upon a dream she had been
Soft and gentle like the morning dew.
Now she embraced the night and its darkness.
She became strong and hard and cold.
and she no longer smiled but laughed a wicked laugh full of hate.

now just an endless nightmare...


Dear Second Life,
Have I become a blogger of just a few words?
Seems like it. Today, however, I was somehow inspired to write the above poem, if we can call it that.
The song choice for this post was inspired by the outfit I tried to create using AZUL'S newest released gown and so
everything came together.

And just as I tried to do my own version of this character, I also took the liberty of recreating my own version
of the story. In my poem the good princess turns wicked after her beautiful dream was over.

I just finished watching an episode of Breaking Bad with my son.

That is our thing, something only he and I do, our special moment.

I also have my special moments with my daughter and that is watching episodes of American Horror

Story and The Twilight Zone (old ones) which is my daughter's favorite show,

But then there are those other moments where all three of us get together to watch shows.

The important thing is to create exclusive moments with each of my children so that they can carry 

those memories in their hearts forever.
